Louise loves masks, puppets, clowns and accordions. She is very serious. Jane Williams (Producer, does all the important stuff) Jane has a background in education and the arts sector. Known as 'random and flexible' she has a great talent for keeping lots of balls in the air at the same time, and this is without any juggling skills. For some reason she loves to work with creative people, but more importantly making sure their creativeness connects with audiences of all ages and and all places. Jane cannot act, sing or dance…yet. Other artists we work with… Liz Walker (Puppet maker) Liz was a founder member and co-artistic director of the groundbreaking and internationally renowned company Faulty Optic Theatre of Animation. As well as making and performing shows she works as part of an arts public participation collective - KPA, teaches puppet skills and designs and makes puppets. Ruth Rankin (Puppet Maker) Ruth is a Cheshire-based visual artist. She has made puppets for Goofus since Under Different Skies. Mark Benton (Our Patron) “The members of Goofus have a particular skill in storytelling. Seeing the joy on children and adult’s faces alike when they watch Goofus perform is such a wonderful experience. I’m very proud to say I’m the patron of this tremendous company and I’m honoured to be involved in some small way with this adventure. Puppetry is integral to the company and I know if they put their minds to it they could animate anything from a paper bag to an old spoon and tell a story that would make everyone laugh, cry and everything in between. If you get a chance to see them I urge you to go and I promise you can’t fail to enjoy yourself”. GOOFUS PATRON MARK BENTON.
